Today was Day of Pink. Many students in our class wore pink shirts to support anti-bullying. We also made a video with our Grade 8 reading buddies. Check out our video here:
We know that we can stop bullying by helping the victim and telling the bully to stop being rude.
Day of Pink
Today a Saskatchewan Roughrider came to our school. His name is Chris Getzlaf. He talked to us about Day of Pink which means no bullying others. We learned about advocates, they can help us if we are being bullied.
We are learning about liquid, solids and gases in science. This week we talked about the words absorb and repel. We learned that absorb means when a liquid is held inside a solid. We tested different materials to find out if they would absorb or repel water.
